27th Sep -Toshiba has announced their upcoming Toshiba Thrive 7-inch, a smaller variant of the original Thrive tablet 10.1-inch.

"The Thrive 7" Tablet is the first seven-inch tablet in the U.S. market to offer a true HD display that when combined with the selection of ports, premium audio, and a better, more robust Android experience make it a great choice for on-the-go consumers looking for a no-compromise tablet."
Toshiba Thrive also known as AT100 still carries the same specs as its successor including;
- High Definition screen with 1280 x 800 resolution with Resolution+ technology
- Nvidia Tegra 2 dual-core 1GHz processor with Nvidia GeForce graphics5
- 5MP rear camera with flash and 2MP front camera
- Stereo speakers
- Integrated GPS
Due to size reduction, there are no more full size USB port (support flash drive/HDD) & full size HDMI. Its has Mini USB, Mini HDMI and a microSD card slot.
Thrive 7" will be expected to run on the latest by Android™ 3.2 and enjoy the full suite of popular Google Mobile Service application and Android apps via the Android Market™
As mentioned on the title, Toshiba Thrive 7-inch will be available in December at major US retailers.
