Let's get a wishful thought from this video below.

Here is the first Nokia Symbian Belle commercial highlighted NFC Near Field Communication.

This short film is about a short romantic story about a young man leveraging Jiepang's NFC check-ins to have a proposal to his girlfriend.

NFC check-ins is a fast verified way to "check-in" and share locations with friends using the Jiepang app just like Foursquare. Nokia 600, Nokia 700 and Nokia N701 are features in this short film.

All you need to do is to swipe the NFC-enabled smartphone over a poster amd instantly check-in to a specific venue. This help to skip the hassle of manually launching the app or fumbling to search for the right venue. Foursquare should implement this to avoid unnecessary duplicate venues check-in.

Check out the love story short film

There are more potential NFC technology can do, tag & listen (just like the girl tag the NFC board and listens to the song in a Music Store), tap & buy? tap & pay?

Facebook has discontinued the Facebook Places service today.

The location-based service is a quite pointless comparing to Foursquare. People who interested in checking in were likely using the Foursquare as integration is possible into Facebook and even Twitter.

A cheaper version of iPhone 4 will be expected soon, within weeks. They slashed the memory size to only 8GB according to Reuters reports citing 2 unnamed industry sources.

If it's only reduced of the storage memory, doubt so the price would have a drastic price cut. Unless the materials used lesser premium like current iPhone 4 example, plastic back cover & AMOLED display.

Reuters also claims that the next generation of iPhone will be announced at the end of September.

Let's meet Anna

Something big is happening in another 2 days which bring the Nokia Connect event that will place in Hong Kong?

The first thing popped my mind on the flash object was 3D. Nokia announcing 3D devices?

But one thing for sure is, we'll be seeing some new Symbian Belle devices.

Nokia actually made a loop hole when they uploaded a .swf named /belle/teaser/belle_fb_TeaserMain.swf that found out by a Nokia fan. After that they renamed it.

What do you think Nokia gonna announce?

- Possibility to use own pictures as background images.
- Time & date, profile name always visible with a glimpse of the phone.
- Rich visual notifications of missed calls, sms, and calendar events.
- Night clock mode setting to dim the appearance for night period.
- Very clear battery charging indication with animation.
- Low power consumption, descreased even further by turning screen off when phone is covered, for example in a bag or your pocket
