Being an open source OS like Android, cloning made easily especially in everything possible-land, China. The photo above showing 2 clones SIII with different specification (low-end & highend) and price tag.

The low-end version features a 4.7-inch WVGA (480x800 pixels) screen, 5MP rear camera with AF, VGA front, running on 1GHz processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB storage and a quite old OS, Android 2.3 (Gingerbread).

The price tag for this low-end version is $209 USD (which about RM660) on Android-sale.com.

For the high-end version, it feature packs with a non SuperAMOLED 4.8-inch HD (1280x720 display, 8MP rear shooter, 1.3MP front camera, 1.2GHz dual-core CPU (not quad-core on original SIII), 1GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage and running on Android 4.0 ICS. It also support two standard SIM card and two 2,500mAh Li-on battery come with it.

The price is starting at $272 USD (which around RM860) that is half price of the original SIII. This phone can be purchase online from Chinacart.com.

Android Authority has performed a heartache drop test on the latest Samsung Galaxy SIII along with the Apple 4S.

Samsung Galaxy SIII to use the latest Gorilla Glass Corning which claimed even stronger than the first generation of scratch-resistant glass from Corning.

Each phone was dropped on concrete floor in three different orientations, rear, side and lastly front. Guess what? The Samsung Galaxy SIII doesn't even last the final test which is front drop test, it already cracked after suffered side drop test.

So the Gorilla Corning Glass 2 is protective enough?

This is how should Gorilla Corning Glass be; No hammer? Use Nokia Lumia 900

Why you have to queue when the big thing is already here. A message passed out to those people who queue for the iPhone 4S indirectly although they didn't mentioned Apple.

The messages passed down are mean on some of the conversation from the video;

The battery look sketchy
It look the same, how people know I've upgraded
I can't never get a Samsung, I'm creative
Why don't you guys just get 4G phone?

Not sure this ad is from Samsung or some Samsung GS II fans that made this up just like the College Humors.

After all it's fun to watch :)
