Eclipse is running on Android 2.2 (Froyo). The OS may look old compare to others Android devices in the market; According to YES, Froyo was used in back 17 months ago to built Eclipse that works seamlessly on their network. They even polished the OS such as customised keyboard with SWYPE supported, integrated dialler/address book/SMS, power management module, 4G communications stack and much more.

DiGi has started taking pre-orders for the new Samsung Galaxy S III. The RRP of this phone is at RM2,199 and will be available from DiGi for as low as RM999 with 24 months contract.

There are two Smart Plan offered by DiGi

The famous social magazine for iPad, Flipboard is making it way to Android and was introduced during the Samsung Galaxy S III announcement few weeks back. Flipboard was supposed to be exclusive to the Samsung Galaxy S III for the next months has been leaked on xda-developers. It was extracted by a developer who have the opportunity to try out the Galaxy S III.

It works fine on older Android smartphone and as well as Tablet, which I'm testing it now on my Toshiba AT200 running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS.

This app still lacks with widget view that found on iOS version.

Viber offers FREE voice call and messaging service through 3G and WiFi on any OS platforms.


The current version of Viber for BlackBerry and Windows Phone only offers messaging service without voice call probably due to beta version. Voice call will be expected soon on the next update.

Today, Nokia announces that the Nokia 808 PureView will start shipping in May. The first countries to launch this monster camera phone will be Russia and India and more countries to be announced soon.
