The long wait of Nokia's first Symbian^3 OS platform is here, introducing Nokia N8.



The biggest features on the Nokia N8 is it's 12-megapixel camera of Carl Zeiss optics paired with Xenon flash. Nokia N8 is the successor of the Nokia N82/N86 8PM, features good & high quality camera. The optic of N8 substantially larger sensor than any ever used in any other Nokia device and even bigger than found in digital cameras.



High Definition 720p with 25 fps video recording were features as well built-in together editing suite on the device itself. HDMI connector is made are available for TV-out to any HD devices such as HD-TV/Monitor to share your photos & video with friends and family in superb quality accompany with Dolby Digital Plus surround for pleasure entertainment.



As for the screen, it has a large 3.5" HD (640 x 360 px) capacitive touchscreen that supports multitouch input as well as touch gesture of flick scrolling and pinch-to-zoom on photos. Up to 3 customisable home screens for widgets, themes, shortcuts, icons and menu that can be flicked through by a swish.

The new 2D and 3D graphics architecture in the platform has been improved for faster and more responsive UI by greater memory management and a visual task manager.

Social networks are visible in phone contacts such as Facebook, Twitter, Ovi Contacts and more enable communication between friends & family closer.

Not to be missed out, the Nokia N8 comes with free global Ovi Maps walk and drive navigation with support more than 70 countries worldwide.

Storage has never be a problem for N8 with 16GB internal memory and expandable up to 48GB with a 32GB microSD card.

Nokia N8 will be Nokia's first smartphone to be integrated with Qt that simplifies the development and makes it possible to build applications once and deploy across Symbian & other software platforms.



The Nokia N8 will be suited with anodized aluminium casing come available in 5 colours Silver White, Dark Grey, Orange, Blue & Green. N8 will be expected start shipping in the 3rd quarter of 2010 with cost of €370 before tax and subsidies.

The all time favourite Nokia phone, Nokia 5800 has another new firmware after the previous release of V40 added in the Kinetic Scrolling. This time Nokia has come out with a new firmware that has been ironed up to fully utilise the phone.

Today Nokia has announced 3 new phones which are Nokia E5, Nokia C3 & Nokia C6 that packed with full QWERTY keyboards and enable access to multiple email accounts, IMs and social networks.



As you can see here, Nokia has started the trend to have the model in an alphabet along with a number that has started earlier on Nokia X6. I believe from now onward, all the Nokia be will categories in four different classes as below;

Espoo, Finland – Nokia has announced three new handsets – the Nokia C3, Nokia C6 and Nokia E5 – designed to put better messaging and social networking tools in the hands of more people around the world, at affordable prices. These new handsets feature full QWERTY keyboards, and enable access to a range of different email accounts, IM communities and social networks.

The Nokia C3 is the first device to bring a full QWERTY keyboard to the world’s most popular mobile phone platform – Series 40 – and is the first in the range to enable access to social networks directly on the homescreen. People can view, comment, update their status and share pictures to their favorite social networks such as Facebook and Twitter.

At an estimated price of EUR 90, before taxes and subsidies, the Nokia C3 also comes with Ovi Mail and Ovi Chat, meaning first time users can set up email and chat accounts straight from the device, without the need for a PC. Nokia has released the latest Ovi Maps with free walk and drive navigation for Nokia E71 & Nokia E66.

The released version of Ovi Maps for it isn't getting the offer premium content such as Michelin and Lonely Planet guides that available on range of devices such as the Nokia E72, Nokia N97 mini and the Nokia X6.

Beside that, these two devices will also be the last of S60 3.1 and older devices to sport this version of Ovi Maps, so Nokia N82, N95 and etc won't be getting such free offer.
