Hong Kong - Today Nokia has announced the next version of Symbian after Anna, Symbian Belle. The rumor is true about Belle in Nokia's Facebook Page few days ago.
Symbian Belle has been in hot topic ever since the leaked new of Belle few months back and now it will be adds to the work done by Anna to improve and modernise the Symbian experience.
Here are some overall features will be present in the new Symbian Belle.
It's has a free-form, resizable, live widgets like clock, email, music player, favourite contacts and the calender have been redesigned and now come in five different sizes. It will be resize-able, rearrange-able to create a completely personalised set of menu screen.
More homescreens with Symbian Belle, which up to 6 that you can have everything close at hand.
Modernised navigation where set at the bottom of the screen.
Offers New Apps that suite powerful business apps from Microsoft that includes Lync (IM for businesses like Microsoft Communicator), Sharepoint, OneNote, Exchange ActiveSync and Power Point Broadcaster.
Visual multitasking that allows you to flick between larger live images of you open apps to see what's going on at a glance and move quickly between apps.
It also have an informative lock screen that will tells you about missed calls, messages in your inbox and more. Similar to the new apps Nokia Sleeping Screen, beside that the wallpaper of the lock screen is changeable.
Improved status bar, finally no more boring tapping and edit. It's have a nicer UI in controlling the common settings such as connections, notifications of the incoming messaging and as well missed calls.
NFC (Near-Field Communication) devices is now deeply integrated into the OS where you can share picture,connect with accessories and check-in with just a tap.
Split screen messaging is there for ease communication/messaging.
Good news! The existing Symbian^3 phone (Nokia N8, E7, C7, C6, X7, E6, and 500) are not left out of this OS update. Looking forward to see more Symbian Belle devices soon.
