Nokia Rugged Unveiled

As refer to my previous blog about Nokia Rugged. The phone behind the videos finally unveiled, it was the Nokia 3720 classic. It has survived the kick with rugby boot, hit with golf club, dropped from 2 stories height, dunked in beer, sunk in jelly, shot with paintball and even swam with it.

This so called the rugged phone has the designe to resist water, dust, shock and has met the IP-54 standards.

A great phone that can use anywhere on any enviroments example in beaches or in dusty construction area where it can withstand the splashes, bumps and drops.

This Nokia 3720 Classic will start shipping this summer and expected to cost €125.



The specs of the phone;

- This Nokia 3720 will be based on S40 backbone.
- It has a 2 Megapixel camera with LED flash, 4X digital zoom
- 2.2 inches QVGA with 16.7 millions colours display.
- In-built with A-GPS with Nokia Maps pre-installed.
- 20MB internal memory with expandable memory support. 1GB in package.
- It come with 2 colours with is silver and yellow in black.
- Bluetooth.

Pros: A very tough phone that can resist water, dust and impact. GPS are integrated in such slim and small phone. Long standby time up to 18 days.

Cons: Using old S40 OS.
