Samsung has just announced the Galaxy Tab 2, a replacement model for the 1st 7-inch Galaxy Tab.

The Galaxy Tab 2 will be preloaded with the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of box and will come with WiFi and WiFi+3G versions.

It's quite similar to the Samsung Galaxy 7 Plus but with lower specification. The Galaxy Tab 2 will be packed with a 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, a VGA front camera and a 3MP rear camera. It uses the same 7-inch PLS TFT LCD screen which similar to the current Galaxy 7 Plus.

Other than that, it will have Samsung TouchWiz UI screen with Live Panel, HSPA+ support, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0. A-GPS, microSD card slot and a 4,000mAh battery.
